Plads compares what's inside the files (SHA-256), not just their names, so only true copies match. One copy in each group is always left unticked.
For Mac · Disk space
See what fills your Mac. Clean up without guessing.
Plads draws your disk as a map, tells you in plain words what each big folder is and whether it can go, and moves what you pick to the Trash. No subscription, no account, and nothing leaves your Mac.
Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later

Explains
What is Application Support, and why is MobileSync 109 GB? Plads has its own guide to about 50 folders that usually fill a Mac, and tells you what each one is with a clear verdict:
Rebuilt or downloaded again by itself when it's needed, like caches and DerivedData.
It can go, but you lose something: an old iPhone backup, a download you may still want.
Your own files, or something macOS needs.
For a folder the guide doesn't know, Apple Intelligence on your Mac can explain it (macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence turned on). It runs on the Mac, and Plads marks those answers so you know where they came from.

Clean up
One list of what's usually safe to clear, each group with its size. Open a group to see every item before anything moves.

Uninstall
Dragging an app to the Trash leaves its caches, settings and support files in your Library folder. Plads finds them by the app's bundle ID and name, shows each one with its size, and removes the lot together.

Find

Plads compares what's inside the files (SHA-256), not just their names, so only true copies match. One copy in each group is always left unticked.

Every file over a size you choose, biggest first, or only the ones you haven't opened in a year.
Privacy
Plads has no network access at all: macOS doesn't let it go online. It only looks in the folders you grant, and what you remove goes to the Trash, so you can put it back until you empty it.

That's all it ever costs. Every feature and every future update is included. No subscription, nothing to unlock later, and if something's wrong, you write straight to Peter, who made it.
$4.99, once. Every feature and every update is included, with no subscription, in-app purchases or ads.
Start with the biggest blocks on the map. Caches, Xcode data and old installers in Downloads are usually safe to clear, and Plads gathers them under Clean up. Then look through large files and duplicates, and empty the Trash when you're sure.
macOS lumps caches, logs, app support files, iPhone backups and developer data together as System Data. Much of it lives in the Library folder inside your home folder. Plads opens that folder up as a map and tells you which parts are safe to delete.
It costs $4.99 once instead of a yearly fee. There's no alarming “junk” total: Plads shows what each folder is and lets you decide, and it never deletes anything itself. Everything goes to the Trash.
No. The app has no network access at all, so it can't send anything anywhere.
